  Sony Style returns to thrill online bidders with its new Network Walkman E500 series in June and later with its limited edition VAIO premiums designed by Japanese designers in August, following its first ever joint charity auctions with Yahoo! Auctions in May 2005 featuring limited edition PlayStation® Portable value pack with games to raise fund for Children Cancer Fund. The online auctions succeeded not only in generating more noise among its tech savvy target audience during the pre launch period, but also in finding out the market perception of the product and its value from the encouraging response of the bidders and their bidding price.
